Welcome to Acid Reflux Treatment Rx

Welcome to Acid Reflux Treatment Rx:

My name is Darlene Blake.

I am a long time sufferer of Acid Reflux Disease, just like millions of other people from around the world.

I decided to do something about it!

I got tired of constantly taking antacids, feeling nauseous, and constantly wondering when the next on set of heart burn was going to hit me. I've done thousands of hours of research, and am here now to share my  experiences about over coming heart burn for good. It hasn't been easy, but I live my life now almost completely free of Acid Reflux, and have in fact stopped taking any medication, except for a few antacids when I feel the need, but it's very rare. For all those of you who struggle with his terrible affliction, I'm creating this blog to share with you what has worked for me, and what may well work for you.

A Diagram of what Acid Reflux Looks LikeThere is a ton of research out there about Acid Reflux Disease, but the confounding truth is that to this day, even with millions of sufferers world wide, there is still not one bit of concrete medical proof as to what causes the onset of Acid  Reflux.

Sure, it's easy to point out the mechanics of Acid Reflux, what physical dispositions my contribute to its onset, but, incredibly no one can tell you why it affects certain people, and not others.

Well, from my point of view, the why doesn't really matter, not the mechanics of how, what I can tell you, is that what's important is how to alleviate it, and live heart burn free. What I, along with thousands of others have discovered, is that Acid Reflux can be controlled with making some drastic lifestyle changes.

I truly believe, and many will support my claim, that Acid Reflux is the direct result of not living a healthy lifestyle! This is not an easy way out of explaining the condition, and I really don't know why it affects certain individuals and not others who are living the same lifestyle, but the anecdotal evidence s there! Changing one's diet, living patterns, lifestyle choices for the better WORKS! And it world much butter than any medication, surgery, etc. It's just much harder to do.

Some things like cutting out acidic foods, quitting drinking and smocking are hard enough to do on their own, and all together may seem like an over bearing task, but the result is long-term relief from Acid Reflux, a healthier life, and comfort. Isn't that worth working for! I certainly think so.

I really do believe, that Acid Reflux is our body's own way of telling us "Hey, you're not living right, you're not treating me right, here's some pain and discomfort so that you know what I'm telling you is no joke!" And we need to listen to our bodies. Otherwise, we are just setting ourselves up for more pain! More discomfort, and potentially hazardous medical conditions later on in life.

I will share all that I have learned with you on this blog. From recipes, to little motivation tricks, to just flat out practical advice that really has helped me over come Acid Reflux and GERD to help me live a comfortable life.

I hope you will check back regularly, and maybe even share some of your experiences so that we can make this blog into a great educational resource for sufferers of Acid Reflux.

All the Best!
